A message from our President

Dear Friends,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and welcome you to the Rainbow Foundation.  As I sit here writing this message thinking of the best way to introduce the foundation, I find myself reflecting about my dad, the founder of The Rainbow Foundation. When my father retired he could have chosen anything to do with his time and he made the decision to dedicate his life to helping seriously ill children. He was driven, dedicated and made it his mission to help each and every child that came to the foundation.

While growing up, my parents were very involved in my life as well as my brother and sister’s. I had the opportunity to see my father build The Rainbow Foundation and interact with families and the children. I did not realize how very fortunate and blessed I was until now; when I have a family of my own. I have always held close to my heart the memories of visiting and helping children. Therefore we have made it our goal to stay focused on his mission and continued to help seriously ill children and families in need.

Since Rainbow Foundation was started we've provided assistance to well over 20,000 children! Among many things, we've paid hospital and medical bills, arranged transportation for both extraordinary surgeries and ongoing treatments, donated wheelchairs and prosthetic devices, bought air conditioners for children with Cystic Fibrosis, and even made grants to families in dire need. All of this was achievable because of the amazing support of the community and the dedication of our wonderful volunteers and outstanding board members. It is because of all your support, the many friends and countless volunteers over the years, we continue making a difference in each and every child and family that asks for help.

I am excited and looking forward for the future of the Rainbow Foundation and continuing my father’s dream. Thank you all again for the wonderful support, we look forward to seeing you at one of our fundraising events.
